150W HPS Cabinet LST Grow.

Here ya go. They are in their last week now. All the big fan leaves have turned yellow and fallen off. Or gone a funny purple colour? Is this normal? Check these out.

if all goes good with my current grow and i get 1/2 an oz, i am 100% going to be getting a 150W HPS, i mean i spent 60 on my cfls ffs, and for an extra 40 bucks , to get yeild 1/8th of urs i would be over the moon
im geussing 3-4oz a plant for ur little ladys

Sorry to join so late guys. Read through the whole thread, nice work Bagz! Your patience will fulfill your soul. If it were me transporting (and ive used this method on many occasion) you could put it all into the smallest container you could get it into. I've go for as small as you can with this method. Ensure that the stash is wrapped in a few plastic bags prior to putting it in tub. Be sure that any liquid could not get in. Do a test a day or so b4. Seal the tub with glue. Seal again. Get some cheap shampoo and fill another larger tub with it (this could be an icream tub) and put your smaller loaded tub in this tub. In my opinion, this provides the ultimate in smell prevention. I'd wash the larger "container" tub afterwards to remove the microscopic dust that geez was talking about.

Touchet, you are a wealth of knowledge man. I could go to some funny extents to mask the smell and to a cover up. Thanks for the vid, good o see you still floating round on here. Same with you gumball. Have you harvested yet? Must check out ya journal actually..

Bout time for some more pics.. I started flushing today, ran straight water through them to flush the nutes from the soil, then gave them a bit of molasses. The next feed will be Wednesday, then the lights go off for three days. Then harvest time and drying.

naw, i didnt harvest, this bitch just keeps growing. not sure whats going on. gonna watch the trichs, they are mostly cloudy now. gonna look at your pic's now

wow your girls are taking off!!! cant wait to see some harvest pic's. have you been able to check the trichs? are you gonna start another grow up after you return from your trip? hate to see this one end, but i am sure your glad to get some smoke!!

Hey Johnny. Thanks for the compliments man. The 150W hps works a treat in a small space. Ant the LST trick is pretty easy. Hope I can inspire someone here.

And Quickrip. Good to see you again. The plants have really fattened up in the last two weeks. There are no leaves left on them now, guess this is normal. And i have slowly been decreasing their light cycle too. From 12/12 to 11/13 and now 10/14. It has hurried them along nicely. And most of the hairs have turned red and curled in. I will post pics again just before and after harvest for you. And follow up with some weights.

Shit there is a good team following this journal.

Hey Superlevs. Welome to the thread, better late than never man. And thanks for the trafficing advise. I will definitly seal the container up and see how I go for space to use the shampoo container. Cheers for the comment, much appreciated.

And conepuller, seems I am becoming a bloody salesman for the 150w HPS, get amongst it my friend. It should treat you well. Cheap and effective. I did a cfl grow in a closet and it was a let down. Keep the cfls in a small space and you will be happy.

Word up Gumball. I have had the same thing with these girls, I expected them to be ready weeks ago. They keep battling on. I mentioned in an earlier post how I reduced the light cycle down. This helped me out. Might reduce your yield? Hasn't seemed to effect mine though. The have really fattened up in the last two weeks since doing this. It's been good to watch. I have a magnifying glass to check the trichs. But they will be coming down in 5 days regardless so I will just wing it. They are cloudy at the moment now and should start to amber when they go into 3 days of darkness before their cut down.
It's gonna be gutting to end this grow. But the stealth shelf will get some upgrades and be back in action soon. Same 150w HPS. Just going to line the box with reflective material, make the cool tube. Add some more fans and make the outside appearance more discreet and stealth. I will most likely be having a young lady stay over more often so she has to be kept in the dark and not suspect anything..

I will definitely start another journal when the stealth shelf evo2 is in action. Wont be far away.

...oh and btw - there's debate about darkness days... some say yes some say no - you may want to check that :) (but I'm not suggesting one over the other here!) C ya!

Hey trifase. There will definitly be follow up pics come pre and post harvest of this grow. I got some dense buds to play with.. It looks hard case now. There are no leaves, just 25 odd towers of bud. Yum.
Debate about darkness days? Anyone with experience care to speak up on here? Someone posted on here that they swear by feeding them with Water and Molases just before you give them 2-3 days of night before harvest. I am hell keen to hear any thoughts from people who have tried this. Hit me up.

Rock the 150w HPS bro, seems they work wonders in small spaces. I must have done something right here.. It's been a good combo.

Jebus, I will need some fairly big containers but I will seem what I can find. you are right about not squashing it so I will find some big jars and then Seal them in Turkey bags like mentioned before.. All this help and advise is awesome. Cheers.

That is looking sweet for twenty days flowering. Mine took a lot longer than that to look like that.. I reckon you will be sorted with a 150w hps, can't wait to see it in action if things work out.
Here is an old shot of my girls at day 24, you will see what I mean, they are a slow moving strain. You are well on your way.
