150 watt hps

Hello everyone i am new to indoor growing How many plants could i single 150 watt hps do. Also if i purchased one would i have to buy a ballast, would i also have to worry about it blowing all the breakers in the room.

about 2-3 plants i suggest getting a 400 watt there not that much more. no it wouldnt blow breakers unless you have like 3 other things plugged into the same socket. yes you would have to buy a ballast

so the 400 watt would not blow breakers? where could i get the ballast and the hps light and hood for a cheap price?

Thats the full thing ballast hood all you have to do is buy the bulb

i was just reading the product discription and i found this "NEW IMPROVED DESIGN - PERFECT FOR ORCHIDS, HERBS, HOUSEPLANTS AND SEED STARTS. Now 175 watt MH & 150 watt HPS." idk you may want to contact them and ask them about what the wattage is. tell me what they say

you can allways throw some cfl bulbs in there too...
i got 1 150wat hps 2-65 wat cfls and 1-23watts and one uvb bulbs for 4 plants and there turning out gr8!i only add the hps during flowering tho....


but for the price of that blasset he posted ur better off going with that.... because ur gonna end up spending at least 80 for a 150watt basset/bulb and x-amount for them cfls.....

are there any places that carry that system? I just dont want to order it online i want to find it at a local store.

if you have a local gardening store they should have some HPS fixtures but it will probably be more expencive

HTGSUPPLY HAS CHEAP HID'S THATS WHERE I BOUGHT MY 150 WATT FROM.. IM FLOWERING TWO GIRLS UNDER IT RIGHT NOW..

you think it would be straught to order it online

you can do 4 smaller plants under that 150
