Well I set up a 1.5mtr high x 1mtr wide x .5mtr deep for around $100aud, the complete setup has been what seems to be a small black hole I am always finding myself going out and buying new additives and fans and gadgets etc. All up I would probably spent 400 - 500aud On getting to the point where I am happy with my setup. I hope this helps.

Cheers kwaka

P.s. I also Got alot of ideas of this forum and the net Google is your friend.

Tell you what. Have another drink on me and we'll try to sort it out in the morning. It seems that you're in no condition to do that now, I hope.

whats a sheet of ply worth there?
4 sheets of 8x4 ply can make a 4x4x6 box. 1/4" ply should be ok.
3 4x6 for back and sides, the 3 2x4 offcuts make the front/door and the 4th sheet cut in half makes the top and bottom.
some 1" sq in the corners, about 60 screws, 4 hinges, some liquid nails, a bit of weather stripping for around the door and some white paint or black and white poly
that should house 9 plants easily or 16 at 1 per sqft.

youll want a fan capable of 100cfm at least, depending on the lights and temps you might need more.
some other things that youll want are a PH tester, a spray bottle, a syringe, a temp/humidity gauge, a small oscillating fan.

by the sounds of it dude you may even want to keep an eye out for a cheap second hand bedroom closet or the like and mod it from there... setting one up from scratch doesnt seem like a very likely option for you. Im guessing you could probably pick one up for fairly cheap from a second hand furnature store or your local trading post, people even throw them out. All you would be looking at then is pretty much what paddy510 said. A few hooks for hanging lights and fan/s etc, ducting holes and a nice CLEAN flat white on the inside.

cheers kwaka

Thank you for the advice i think i'm gonna go down to home depot this weekend and get 5-6 cfl's and attach them on the sides and middle wall and have 2 or 3 hanging down so they get more then enough light, i'm also ordering some mylar to line the walls up im only going to have 3 plants ive decided in the lower half. The dimensions for the lower half are 37" h 43" w and 22" d. Im going to put a piece of sheet rock or plywood covering the front where the door is so its closed in attach a comp fan in it, then exhaust it threw a whole in the shelves boarding right above it and leave it open while im home then close it a little so its somewhat a crack open so theirs constant air flow. Any flaws in that or sounds alright??
