In a semi, unsafe lane changes are VERY severe, you can kill people very easily driving 80,000lbs of steel vs. 3000lbs on your average car.

In Louisiana there are quite a few, especially the trucker cops or LA Dept of Weights and Standards. I-10 through Louisiana is a huge drug highway and in California I imagine it's the same.

The cops could of also been watching this guy already and just used the lane change to get him.I've also been pulled over by state police k-9 unit so they do have them.Just imagine what 14 tons of weed would smell like people driving by could probably smell that shit 50 yards away.
