12x7 Room Lighting suggestions

Hey all,

My buddy and I are gonna be setting up a 12x7 room. We plan to keep it as a flower space and flower 6-10 plants at a time.

Would it make sense to get LEDs that add up to roughly 3000w or just get 2 1000w hps?

Ideally we would like to run LEDs but I’m not sure how many actual watts of led we should run.

All suggestions are welcome. Tia

I’d run 4 600-watt HPS over 2 1000-watt. For costs going in definitely go HID. Quality LED prices still crazy ridiculous. You’re looking at thousands to cover the same area.

Thanks for this chart! Really puts things into perspective. When money is up I’ll invest into some good LED

I’d run 6 x600watt HPS in that space if you wanted HID. Leds would be a mint for sure.
