Hey fellas I have A 12 X15 room and I wanna throw 9 air cooled lights up. Do you think my 10k btu rollaway will be able to handle it or should I get another one?

Wattage? Intake temps? Fans? Setup? No way to tell if that's enough AC from just this info. If you get 2 8" inch vortex fans, and run a line of 5 and a line of 4 lights u can probably get away with that AC for 9000w assuming that's what u meant. If its 9 x 600's u wont have a issue i don't imagine.. The trick to cooling strings of lights is to have the ducting only turn once or twice. The more turns u make the ducting do the less effective heat will be dispersed. Use insulated ducting.

use a separate inline fan to blow cold air through the ducting creating positive pressure in the ducting / lighting system, you can use the coolest air in the room or outside air to blow through the ducting

use a separate inline fan to extract hot air from the environment creating negative pressure in the grow space this can be mounted just above the lights ,
the two fan system will work well you can connect the air conditioner to the light system to push cold air through the light/ducting also to help cool the lights before they can warm the air of the environment too much

always try to cool down the lights directly or concentrate on cooling the lights not the grow space
sucking out warm air from the space and only relying on that 1 fan system is a losing battle when you have a room full of lights
as you are sucking warm air through the lights this does not help to cool them down very much

have you used a 12 inch inline fan before ?

peace

Thanks guys I decided to use 8 lights with 2 8 inch fans on a closed loop system each set of 4 lights has their own inline so it's staying cool to the touch so far.

No way in hell that portable ac will cool that space even using 400w lights. They are by far the least efficient of any ac style. You would need 24000-36000btu of cooling for that size room and that many lights. That is about the size of my flower and veg room combined and the veg room feeds from the flower room for ac and with 6000w hps in flower and another 1000w in t5s in veg I have a 12000 and a 22000btu mini splits and I can tell you I used a portable when I first started and it wouldn't even cool a 6x10 room with 3000w
