I believe he is saying dehumidifiers? You simply run the ducting out the window. I don't know what area you're in, or how close your neighbors are but shooting a bunch of cannabis air out the side of your house might not be a good idea.

The window is 5’6”W x 4’ tall and 1 side slides over the other.

If that’s what I think it means. Yes these have 8” vent holes on each side.

Ya exactly make the ply the same width as the AC set on top. Tape up edges. I'd probably add a sheet of foam around keep that hot air out/away

1. Invest in a 24K BTU mini split unit

2. Invest in a good dehumidifier with auto restart mode - first you calculate the daily transpiration of your plants (99% of the water you put into the system will be getting removed through the leaves). If you can do it, make a small hole in the wall and drive the draining tube of the dehumidifier out of your growing space so that you don't have to be emptying the dehumidifier every day.

3.No need for a hole in the wall to vent. Just put a big carbon filter on the floor and connect your exhaust fan on top of it.

4. Lots of fans inside the room to be covering thoroughly the space with air.

5. CO2 tank with a controller like the Autopilot.

6. Humidifier - preferably fogger ones. Then you can experiment with VPD to your liking. Connect the humidifer(s) to Son Off devices.

7. Cleanliness, cleanliness, cleanliness, proper IPM prevention. If you are not careful and experiment with VPD + CO2 (high humidity values), pests like root aphids are gonna fuck you up and propably it will be too late when you understand their presence. That's what happened in my case.

If you do it right, this setup is gonna pay off for the extra expenses from the first time. I wish I had gone like that from the beginning of my growing days.

Edit: * Seal the room as best as you can. If you are using organic soil mixes in a properly sealed room, CO2 tanks will be holding much longer than expected with other setups.

If you can't afford a mini split you can cool 6k watts with fans. I use double ended lights so they are a bit hotter. But in one room I use a 36k btu mini split, in the other since it's cold here (mi as well) I have a 12 Inch exhaust fan and 10 intake fan hooked to a thermostat. My lights are not air cooled so you can prob get by with a 10 Inch exhaust fan and 8 Inch intake fan. But you gotta get a run in and buy an ac with the money before it heats up outside.

I'll be adding an ac to that second room after this run. Setting it up to vent is kinda expensive with fans and filters but it's nice to have the option to vent even after installing ac, because AC always tend to fail at the worst times and this works as a back up.
