120x120x200 under 600w with 8 plants.HELP

Hey guys, So I want to ask you whether I'm right with my equipment :

My tent will be 120x120x200 under 600w + 6inch cooltube with 8 plants, is it possible ? 4 weeks for veg and 7-8 weeks for flowering.I'd like to use a scrog method.What do you think guys ? Please advise me,thanks in advance.

I think another type of hood might give you better light distribution making your 600w go a little farther. I would go 1000w in a tent that size, but the 600w is still great, and is more efficient. I use a Radiant 6 hood.

But what size pots I should use ? 11L would be ok ?

I'll chime in here, but I'm talking out of what I've learned from others, NOT actual experience, I'm only on season 2 myself.
If you are vegging for 4 weeks, the plants should not be root bound by a pot that size. I grew a plant with 90cmx90cm canopy in a 11L pot and she had plenty of room to grow. That was vegging outdoors, probably longer than 5 weeks. I didn't start in that size though. Solo cup ==> 3.75L ==> 11L

8 plants scrog in 120cmx120cm might get crowded. Scrog is awesome, but considered an advanced growing method, which I will be doing maybe season 3 or 4.
I can only hold 4 11L pots in my 90cmx90cm tent.

I see a lot of people going with very few plants, like 1 or 2 in 120x120 vegged for little more than 4. Interesting read. Good luck.

I'm using the same tent with the same light fixture I have reflectors on a cool tube currently have 7 plants in it doing great. It's risky but once the first two weeks into flower clip all the bottom leaves that are drooping and some fan leaves on top but don't over do it and stress her out. Like I said it's risky but it works great on the told from that light with that many plants in that much room. I'm also growing dwc in 10 gallon tubs with 2-3 plants in each. Hope this helps. I can add pics if needed. I plan to go to a bucket system next month and 1000w hid setup.

my advice:

ditch the scrog idea, waste of time in my experience.
get an open bulb reflector, they give so much more yield than a cool tube reflector.
grow either 1,4,9 or 16 plants in that tent, 8 is a strange number to try and fit into a square.
get coco and canna nutes


you can get 15-20 oz a time and up to 4 harvests a year if you copy the style of growing that i use.
