12/12 from start to finish

Im doing 12/12 light from start to stop with 400 watt MH light, I have pics up if ud like to look and gimme advice, Id like it. Would like to get more than 1 opinion on my question. I have all my plants together as u can see, as soon as they sprout they go under the big daddy light but I will not do more than 6 plants per my light.....I have 2 females that have white hairs straight outta the top that are 7 wks old, 2 i have tossed b/c they were males. I dont give anything xtra to them but once in a while sum miracle grow. Should I give the girls sumthing to encourage flowering....they are rather small b/c I kept them in a small cup for too long while finishing my grow room. Plz help me out, much appreciation ;0)

get the pics up...they didnt take. trash the miracle grow and if your keepin it budget minded and simple get Instant Shultz( works wonders) IMO i would use a HPS if you can!! what kind of soil you usin?! Have you transplanted them into bigger pots?? gunna need a lil mo info to really help ya bro!

Ok Yes I transplanted from styrafoam cups to 3 gal pots. I dont have a budget but dont want to spend money either, my pics are on my profile check um out and when do I use the stuff u were telling me about and Im a girl not a bro ;0) Imma add u to my friends ;0) Check out my pics and tell me what u think. My soil is organic choice.

Use Hps man. Its much more energy efficient. 400 Hps watts is like 1/3 more lumens than 400 MH watts. Can you post pics? How tall do the plants grow at 12/12?

I've ran a clone 12/12 from start to finish in a 10x10cm pot, come out alright, maybe... 5-8g maximum. Tiny pot aswell so a bigger pot wudda done a lot better but its completely green, no yellow or bad leafs, and thats just had some time-release soil and some flowering nutrients, no vegging time. Didn't really care much for it, so just shoved it in rather then binning it

ok g/f! you wanna use the instant shultz every 3 waterings and if you can get a retro fit hps bulb. the hps is is much better for flowerin at the least you would want to get some cfl's (compact fluorescent lights with 2500-2700 kelvin. the box usually will tell ya. start light on the instant shultz and make sure the ladies dont get nutrient burn and slowly bump up the strength!! does the soil have nutes in it??

No nutes in soil, just straight from wally world, and whats the easiest, cheapest way to add sum lights to my room? Did u see y pics? Also for the reply b4 urs Idk how to put pics hear....I tried b4 and it asks me for a URL.......Also not being a cheapo but Im growing for me and a stash away not to make money so If I get a couple ounces outta 6 plants I will be happy. What can I add just for flowering, to kick um in thier ass, u know what I mean bro....lol ;0) Im adding to this I just went to the site for the lights u told me about and they are the same bulbs I got.....look at my pics, maybe its a 400watt HPS bulb, I know its for growing.

Ok so thats wicked cheep, what kind of light bulb do i get for it and add it with my light im using now or use it alone, how much electric is my 400 watt light using now.....do u think its bad! My bill is one price for a yr and then at the end we square up....u know what im saying. lol

yea im witcha!! the 400 watt wont take much at all on the bill!! you'll hardly notice it!! you wanna get 100-150 watt CFL's with 2500k-2700k sumwhere in that range and you can buy them at lowes/wally world/etc..!! at least 2 of them !!! the more light =more bud!!! and keep the 400 watt'r on with the CFL's!! depending on where u at your bill will go up bout 10-25 bucs with the 400 and 2 100-150's!!

hey rookie if u are gonna get a hps they do get pricey but it is well worth it in the end but i have seen tons for very beautiful looks plants with just cfl's i bought a 150watt on ebay came with a bulb and all for 70$ they also have 400watts for 120$ 400watt hps and200watt hps

but like i said i've seen alot of good ass cfl grows it is cheaper but if u had a hps your buds will be twice as frosty!!! but if ur not tryin to put out that much dough for light get some power strips some socket adapters and a pack of the highest watt cfls like unicorn said 2700k for flowering and i think 6500k for vegging with your 400 watt MH light and about 5 or 6 26watt cfl;s the right nutes and some TLC you;ll end up with monster ass buddage

Can sum1 tell me I bought a pack of 4 cfl lights today for 10 bucks at Lowes.....but when I got um home they say 25 watts on each bulb, which would make sense 4 25 watts is 100 watts, but I thought they were 100 watts a peice.....now I went online to order 100-150 watt cfls and there arent any, they come up with like a 42 watt that is equal to 100 wattts or sum shit.....am I misiing sumthing here. R there 100 watt cfls or freekin what. Also I uploaded photos to photobucket and then deleted them so they wont stay here. Is it safe to have pics of ur grow on photo bucket?

Yu can get 125 watt cfls if you look on ebay, basically, that other number (for instance, my small cfls are 21w > 100w) The first number is the ACTUAL wattage, thats the one we read and take into consideration, the other wattage (in this case 100w) is the equivilent wattage it would be of a normal bulb, so just discard the second number. The ACTUAL wattage is the one that counts

I rigged these up by using a y socket with the clipon work light. I have a total of 8 bulbs over that vegging unit now. It works better if you unscrew the hood from the light.

Ok so if I have 3 25 watts and a 400 watt MH light am I good with that and yes I will take the hoods off them clamp on lights ;0)

These are the bulbs you want my friend. I always buy from this store, they're the cheapest and most reliable folks out there. people here will always tell you 1000bulbs.com, but their prices are invariably 10% higher than those on this CFLuvniverse website. They have a sale right now so these huge 105 watt CFL's are like 20 bucks each factoring in the sale price. Good luck!
