is it bad to do 12/12 from seed? i heard clones are good to use for 12/12 but plants from seed need time to develop? is it really not good for the plant or can you still achieve good results?

Mary will develop when she is ready to develop. I grow 12/12. I get some good yeild. Sativas do better on a 12/12 schedule than do Indicas. I guess since genetics of a Sativa comes from closer to the equator where there is more of a 12/12 light schedule.

12/12 from seed isnt really quicker than doing 4 weeks veg before flowering.plus if you do 12/12 from seed you will yeild less because your plants will not develop the same way because of only getting 12 hours of light during veg growth rather than atleast 18 hours.

agreed with resinous. The marijuana plant if running under 12/12 will go into flower as soon as it can which could potentially just be about 4 weeks, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter depending on strain. This would be ok if you're just trying to pump plants out as fast as you can but IMO if you're running 12/12 you are wasting a LOT of time and resources... You might as well plant it outside and say fuck it... The whole point (generally) of growing indoors is to be able to control your cycles and plants... When you only give them 12/12 you're not getting the most you can out of them... Try going at least 18, (my veg room runs 24 hrs on 220w of CFL's) and I guarantee you will see a big change once you decide to finally send them into flower with a 12/12 light cycle... Just ideas, to each his own.. REMEMBER MORE LIGHT=MORE GROWTH so whether that's more in the sense of time or in the sense of intensity there is def a way for you to get more out of what you got. THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT! Cheers

Not true, your saving leccy for one thing only running 12/12, with an average of 2oz per plant sometimes more, when done in a sog its as good a way to grow as any other method. These are 12/12 from seed, check out the 12/12 from seed thread for much better ones.
