12/12 from seed with flourescent

i have two plants going from seed at 12/12 with a wide spectrum 80 watt 3800 lumen fluorescent bulbs do you think i will be successful in the end??? they are about 1 week and a half old.

Why are you doing the 12/12 all through?

At least bump the veging up to 16/8, but even 24 works fine.

Only point I might be able to make is being as you don't have the biggest and baddest light available(the sun), the longer they're on the better.

The fluorescents don't use any electricity, if thats your issue.

12/12 from seed is acceptable in order to keep plants small which would be a good idea if your gonna be flowering with that little light

by veging with this light all he will get is a severely stretched tree flowering from seed will keep it shorter and allow that light to do more good

I`ve seen a flourescent tube grow on jointdraaien.nl(in dutch but with fotos) ..the guy turns his plants on their side so the side shoots grow up towards the light.He got a decent crop..check it out.
