12/12 from seed to finish (no-veg-lights) ??

I can't really help you with this little information. on your thread with a video the video was private so i couldn't watch it. lol
I started my grow with 1 26 watt cfl 2700k then doubled that, doubled again up to 105watt and doubled again up to 210watt. what is the color temperature of your bulbs? I managed females and decent growth with 2700k but you want around 5000k.
Idk about PC growbox but my plants were pretty much 12-12 from seed and would have out grown a pc case by now.

But yea go ahead and use 2700k light for veg. I didn't have much problems from it, but 5000k area would be better.
Also, for future posts make sure you use pictures because you're more likely to get a response.

I thought you meant No Veg Lights. Vegetative lights being with the color temp of 4000-6500k and Flowering lights are 2000-3500k. For veg you can do 24 hour light or 18-6 that means 18 hours of light 6 hours of darkness. You can start with 12-12 from the day they are planted (12-12 from seed, i thought you were doing..). The plant will flower as soon as it's mature enough that way.

okay im NEW AT AT THIS! What im asking is ALL I HAVE IS 4 23=100 WATT CFL BULBS can I plant seed set timer to 12-12 and water from day one to 8 weeks till harvest with the bulbs I listed?

What's the color temperature rating? 2700k? 5000k? 6500k? You can start with 12-12 but it will take longer than 8 weeks from seed. it'll take 6-12 weeks from the beginning of flowering, it takes 4-6 weeks for them to show sex and with 12-12 from seed you will be able to consider it flowering when you see female flowers.. You should do a lot more research before you start any seeds I'd say. Those lights will work but don't expect much and the color temp is important. There's a lot more to this cannabis 101. so just keep looking for info on your own.

If you're doing a pc grow I wouldn't veg for more than 3 weeks. I vegged 2 weeks and my plant would have outgrown a pc. But I'm still a noob too, just keep looking stuff up.

Edit: actually now that I think of it, Are you really growing autoflower plants? If you're growing autoflower you can do 18-6 light cycle for their entire life I believe. I don't do auto though so you'll need more research on that.
 
4 bulbs in that pc case...why not? You can't really give the plant any veg time if it is to fit in that case.
I don't understand the taking the risk and putting in the work and what not, for only a couple of grams at a time....I don't get it, so can add nothing to this really. Sorry.
 
okayyy it is 2700K... also 18-6 from day one ?? or 12/12? also do you think ill get more than a few grams i hope sooo
 
Don't expect a lot from a PC grow. You have to consider pot size and the size of the lights taking up space. You'll want to look into LST, supercropping and SCROG. Probably a quarter, maybe a half? 12/12+PC=small plant.
 
I get 3 oz per plant, under a 400w CMH light for flowering, and 3 weeks of veg time under a 400w MH...
When I started out using CFLs I had a 2 ft tall plant only yield 10 grams dry...

That is shit!

The PC grows might be fun or entertaining, but in the way of getting smokable product, you may as well not even try...

You can't possibly get enough out of that space to make it worth growing at all...
If you are somewhere where it is legal then I guess have at it...
but I just don't see any sense on doing the time to only half ass do the crime...lol.

eh.. autos dont need 'veg' or light changes.. AUTO bro, AUTOMATIC, 12/12 will work fine 18/6 is better, i think your problem could be watts 4x23=92w, i dont use lights but from what i read you need over 100w to pull anything realistic

No one grows with incandescent light bulbs, which is what the equivalent is. Only pay attention to actual watts.


As far as 2700 or 6500 goes. I would use a 3:1. For every three 2700k bulbs, use one 6500k. Assuming they're the same wattage. Mixed spectrum is best spectrum.

  • A lot of work went into this strain. Genetics include Pine Apple Chunk, Afghan Kush low Rider, shortstuff automatic and a local rudelaris plant left over from WWII for hemp. This is as short as I think I can get them. This is my fist of this batch and it is showing sex and it is showing after 16-19 days I think. If you look close, you can see the baby leaves proving this isn't a clone. A few pics of the females will come shortly. The last attempt at this they were to big. The goal was to get them small enough to put in a computer case. I think you could fit 3 of these in a computer case!! But anywhoo thought you all might like to take a look!
    Oh, I think I can predict the TCH level to be between 9 and 12%.. So not, its not the greatest. But that wasn't the goal. If I wanted that I would have stuck with the Pineapple Chunk..​
