400w MH, just after transplant. They were germed/vegged under a single 2700K 65w CFL for 28 days, then introduced to the HID Lamp. Topped @ the 4th node. All feminized, except Sleestack Skunk (reg) - seen on the upper left corner of the pic. If it's a male, I may take some pollen and hit my Durga Mata with it

I second that - I've grown Nice, Resinous Buds under CFL's. I've never been disappointed with bud grown under 100+ watts /sq ft. of CFL light. As always with indoor, you must provide adequate Lumens to get good results. This is also true for any other lighting source used.

Yeah, it all goes to show you CAN get a nice crop using only CFLs
They are actually Nearly as efficient as MH/HPS lamps, but not quite, as they lack the intensity. I've used 130w / sq. ft and yielded very good buds. The trick is keeping all those bulbs close to the canopy at all times. The plants respond better if the light comes from 1 powerful source, rather than many weaker ones. We recently got a 400w light system for that reason. If I were still using CFL's, I'd invest in the highest wattage possible an try to give them 100w/sq foot

CFL is for people who are dumb, don't know that you can buy a 150 hps for 30 bucks, or think cfl growing exists in production growing. aka. professionals. aka people who know what they are doing...

Actually, CFL's can work quite well, IF you're a smart grower. Obviously, what I said about lumens per sq/ft flew way over your head. If you were a smart grower you would stop talking about HPS because you would Know that potency /resin production is directly related to intense blue and violet wavelengths NOT present in any HPS spectrum. Can you guess which lamp is best for optimal potency and resin production>? Bet you can't...
