It would be hard (impossible) to flower the plants with those little cfl's. It's fine for starting seeds, but you really need much more light for veg and certainly for flowering. Get a 150-250w HID Lamp and you will be off to a great start-

Its not hard to flower with cfls. Seen so many growers do full cfl grows continuously and have great results some even get nice compact buds.It would be hard (impossible) to flower the plants with those little cfl's. Either way getting a hps light i heard is about 35%-45% quality difference for a person on a budget it works like magic but if you want to invest and gain higher quality and quantity yields hps is the way to go. Im doing full cfls and its going great!

True, but not in the set-up pictured. You need about 100w/sq.ft of CLF light for excellent growth and fat buds. I am talking about actual wattage, and not that "equivalent" bullshit.

Light schedule fro auto's 1st month 18/6 (use grow light) 2nd month can do 12/12 or 18/6 with flower light. Know of a grow whom grew auto's with a 12/12 cycle using only flower light; start to harvest -plant gave 1- 1.5 oz's. If you use a 18/6 cycle and grow light for veg stage; your yields will be greater, then switch to flower at 30 days
