This will be my first attempt at DWC.
The Equipment::
5 regular bag seeds
2 Decent Aquarium Air Pumps
2 10" Bubble Stones
5 gallon bucket with 5 net pot sites
200 watts of CFL's Somewhere around almost 9-10 thousand lumens
Book shelf converted to a grow box.
Clonex Clone and Seedling Nutrient for 2-3 weeks
Fox Farms Tiger bloom
Dutch masters reverse/penetrator (if needed)
The seeds cracked on 8/9/11 and were then moved to hydroton from a paper towel and today 5 happy sets of very green cotyledons have emerged, bubbling away. I've also proved those wrong who say you can't sprout a seed in hydroton. You just have to make a small hole or crack in the center of the hydroton grown medium and insert the taproot right down into it. The seedling will right itself and the roots will take hold.
Heres some pics of my setup during the dark cycle under green light, probably cant see the seedlings though.
Bring on the criticism for having 5 plants in one bucket but i don't mind, they'll show in 3 weeks and the males will be removed leaving me with more room anyhow. I once got 3/4 females on a 12/12 from seed so im going into this pretty optimistic.
Check out my journal from time to time, happy growing
