10'X10' "Stealth" Room Ideas?

So, looks like my wife, son and i will be moving in with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband and my wife's Grandma so that both households can live more affordably. Lived there briefly when we first got married and it was hell. The dynamics in the household have changed greatly though.

i can either grow in a shed in the yard (would have to buy and set up the shed with heat and a/c as well as electrical) OR i can have a 10'X10' room in the house that is isolated from the rest of the house. The in-laws concerns are primarily smell and stealth. This room has a tile floor, electric. 4 windows (two to the outside and two to an adjoining room which would also be ours to use as a "living" space to watch movies, talk, etc.), but no heat/ac or ventilation.

My thinking is that i would be best off to put a 4X8' tent in there, add ventilation and ducting for heat/ac, a good carbon filter combined with Ona Gel, black out the windows (if you got some ideas for stealthily blacking the windows, i'm all ears!), adding security bars to the windows and door that lead outside, and finally, sealing the room.

We've got about a month and a half until we move IF we move (still working a couple of things out). This will be limited to about 6 plants flowering and i'd likely get a smaller tent to veg in so i can run perpetual. i have an 8" 745 cfm fan already so i know i can vent the room with that but i don't think it would be enough if i'm running either 1 REAL big filter or a couple of smaller ones. i don't even know exactly how i would set up the ventilation tbh so any suggestions would be awesome. i'd like to vent into the attic.

Thoughts on how to set this up?

Thanks in advance :eyesmoke:

The room sounds the way to go, for my window I measured the inside sill, went to Home Depot and bought cheap 29 buck blind, had them cut to fit 1/8" clearance on the sides installed as close to the window as possible. Then draped Mylar over the window, held in place with staples and painters tape. Re-installed the original drapes.

Central Valley you may just want to vent into the house during the winter, the Ono Gel works great! that and a fresh carbon filter you'll be good to go!

Not a bad idea at all. Thank you!
