It's nice to see you included veg watts in the calculation. It's always bothered me that everyone forgot that veg was included, when calculating gpw first came to be. That's why I don't even usually speak the language of GPW any longer. Again, well done ;-)
Thank you for the positive feedback my friend :)

Simple but still worth while. I don't believe there's such a thing as too much light, I think it's keeping the temps down. I'm an outdoor grower and we cant turn the sun off. But being said I don't want to get in over my head so I guess 4 lights will be a good starting point.
I have 15+ years outdoor experience under my belt... wasn't until I started thinking about indoor that I found this site through my research. You CAN have too much light though... when the cost/fight of heat outweighs the number of lamps in a given space which makes it uncontrollable, you have too much.

This is why I suggested two 1kW lamps on movers for your space.

Rather I believe him or not, I wouldn't doubt him.. You know nothing about him? Calling "bullshit" on somebody you don't low? No that's bullshit.. -.- don't bring some one down because you can't spend $2,000 on hps lights? Lol. Sorry I don't mean to be rude. Actually I do because you were rude to this man who is trying to get help.!!!!
Call it like I see it. Maybe his friend verbally told him that, or maybe it was an error, maybe they are 600 watters, etc. Not calling the guy a liar. Its not impossible, but very impractical. There is a light saturation point, and most people round here settle on 50-60 watts as a good rule of thumb and diminishing returns after. Over saturation is known as light bleaching, the destruction of chlorophyll. It seems like most people develop heat stress problems before this happens. I've experienced both.

Lets not even mention the issues of bare bulb cooling in that small of an area.

When you ditch your t-12 and cfl grow lights and buy your first HPS you'll get a better understanding.
