Looking at the photo of the Square-D QO panel on page 4 post #71, and having never work on that particular model panel (QO112M100C), I am intrigue if the bar you have the neutral (white) wire going to is isolated from the bar you have the grounding (bare) wire. Correct me if I am seeing it wrong, but from the photo it appears as if the horizontal bar is bonding the two neutral and grounding wires together in that panel. In other words, if I wanted to verify that the neutral and ground is not being bonded in that sub-panel, looking at the photo of the QO panel (post #77) with the #2 gauge feeder wires removed, I should be able to place the probes of an ohmmeter across the neutral bar and grounding bar, and not show continuity on the ohmmeter.

Wow thats beyond me...lol.. well tomorrow she is being fired up. I will be in there sleeping with a fire extinguisher.. lol

Yeah but NFTG gods is really expensive about 400 for two mid size 4k grows. Smells horrid but people really like the stuff I grow with it. I dont try to grow the most, just the best that I can.

They ARE bonded together.. the QO112M100C is a load center aka, home service panel not a sub panel

Your new panel is a (sub panel) that came off the big main box. That big main box is your home service panel .Your service panel should have all the grounds ( the bare or green wire) and neutral ( white ) wire bonded or connected together.. Your new sub panel shouldn't have those two bonded together. They should be separate (isolated) from each other in a sub panel.. Get your money back from the electrician that didn't help you... Sorry

The electrician only hooked up the wires from the main panel to sub panel. My brother and I did everything past the sub panel. Timers, the other sub panel and the sockets. I plan on firing it today or tomorrow. If this can be corrected I would like to do it myself, im just not sure what your talking about.

Ending up going the route you did sorta.. A electrician will be doing it.100a off the main, ( i get to trench through rocks for 50ft) to a 100amp sub panel. Then ill have a titan 18 on an 80a off the subpanel and 12-15 110/20a outlets.

Looks like you're doing it right.

By nec code yes it's wrong, BUT it will work .
the bar that runs between the white wire and the bare copper wire should not be there in a sub panel.
