1000w with 4X4 ebb and flow tray

Have 1000w with 4X4 ebb and flow tray with 50 gallon reservoir. Want to get at least 2 pounds. Have a lot of expereance but need help. How many plants, how long veg, any help Please!!

Whats your strain? How many sited do you have? You need to be a little more specific.

I would say with a good ventilation for that 1k HPS, good nutes, ext you should see any were from 1/8 pound to 3/4 pound...

Ive seen a good 400g from a plant no prb.

Btw I love George Lopez, i watch it on Nick at night after a Blunt every night lol

GROWFAQ

Use SoG, grow 4 per sq ft, 6-8 weeks veg from seed to sexual maturity, 8wks flowering. A cooltube is a very good thing for a 1000. You'll either need a lot of seeds, a lot of luck to get all the fems you need to fill a tray or you need to establish mums and do cuttings to fill your tray. If you fill 1/4 of the tray with clones at a time every 2 weeks, in 8 weeks you'll be getting 1/4 tray capacity out every 2 weeks. Get the conds right, this single 1000 op will yield 1lb every 2 weeks (harvest 16 plants @ 1oz ea every 2 weeks).

you dont veg them at all...you put them straight into flower.....al is working in the op right now, but that's what he's gonna tell ya.;-)

Al B. I did as you said and I only got about 10g per plant. I do bubba k, is this a shitty strain for you method? I have gotten as much as 60g per plant with less plants 9 or 10 but veg of 2-3 weeks.

I am trying to match what see more buds can do with a 4X6 space when he gets 5-6 p's.

I have a 4X8 ebb and flow tray with 2 1000w hps. I use General Nutes as the label states and add kabloom when in full flower.

Is Getting 5-6 p's impossible with ebb and flow? Do I need to try the aeromist systems?

I think that the strain is key to this method. I tried putting a few of my Purple Kush plants into flower as soon as they rooted and they only ended up like 4-8 inches tall at harvest =(

That being said I dont think it was the method as much as the strain, the PK only grows about 1/3 of its starting height from my other experiences.

Any way I have 9 girls going in a 2.5x4 ft tray with 1000w and a Screen and its turning out very well. LINK

Use an indica dominant hybrid to keep them short but dense. You want to just grow the single cola so look for strains that favor one cola dominance. Bubba K, although an amazing strain, would not be well suited for SoG style grow. I have seen a amazing SoG with Bubblelicious. Guy was getting 1.25 zips per plant under 600s. You can attain this with your 1000 without too much difficulty. Al B. uses Sweet Tooth #4 for his. Just preference on the strain but make sure its indica dominant to get some kind of yield, not 10g per.
