Set up is as follows:
Grow Space: 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m Tent
Lighting: 1000w HPS with Air Cooled Reflector, electronic dimmable ballast
Ventilation: 150mm 450cfm fan
Medium: Canna Terra Pro, as is
Nutes: Canna Terra Vega (veg), Canna Terra Flores (flower), CalMag (if needed)
Temps: 24-26C Lights On. 19-21C Lights Off
RH: 35% - 55%

The seedlings are at day 12 since they popped their heads above the soil. One of the OG Grape Krypt's was a dud, a complete and utter runt. Scrapping it.

With the 8 remaining, 3 are regular seeds so ideally I'll end up with 6 females and 2 males so I can do some selective pollination of a few branches and hopefully come up with some interesting crosses/plants, and supply myself with seeds for a while. I recently tried some selective pollination with a couple of bagseeds and it went well, so Im keen to try with some known strains.

I went with 2 OG Grape Krypt in the hopes of getting a male so I could make me some seeds...now Im not sure what to root for in terms of the remaining plant. To be honest, I'd probably rather a male as Ive got more seeds to run to get a fem, and Im also running a couple of single seeds this round that Id like to cross with the OG.

This is my first run with this set up since upgrading from a 400w and a tiny tent, so I dont really know what to expect. But, that being said, Id like to see at least a pound come harvest time.

BTW, forgive me for the crappy camera. Its never seems to get the colours right. And the WWxBB was busy being watered. Pics another time.

The Big Bang is at day 58 of 12/12. I reckon its got about 3-4 days left before I chop. Right now its at about 5% amber trichomes. I'll harvest at about 10%+ amber. Doesn't have a strong smell, but its there. The smell is sort of pine ish, and as advertised, you can definitely smell green apples. The buds are quite dense. I think it'll yield decently for its size. I'll estimate an oz.

The Critical Sensi Star and the Green Love Potion are both at day 44 of 12/12. These two got almost zero veg time so they're annoyingly small. The CSS is my favorites plant at the moment. Its got a strong grapefruit smell with a hint of pepper in the background...tis bloody lovely. The GLP, for those who don't know, is a cross between Black Domina and Lavendar. And I can say the Lavender takes precedence in the aroma department. Tis very floral. Both are covered in crystals...esp the GLP. Again, I think they'll both yield ok for their size. Im hoping for 3/4oz from each of these.

The Doctor and WWxBB are both technically at day 44 of 12/12 also, but they had a hard start to life, were stunted and consequently took longer to start flowering. They're at least a week, if not more, behind the CSS and GLP, and they're small...the WWxBB is a bonsai. Im not to excited about these two strains tbh. But I've got em going so I'll see them through. Both smelling a fair bit. More of a skunky dank smell from these two. WWxBB has by far the least trichome development of the lot...damn Big Bud genetics I suppose.

Well, I harvested the Big Bang...at day 59-60ish.

Yep, it could have gone a few days longer, no doubt about it...but it'll be perfectly respectable as is (at about 5% amber trichs). I would love to have let it go a lil longer, but the timing wasn't great and Im gonna need this bud to tide me over so I can avoid having to deal with a dealer. I swore I'd never go back to another dealer...unknown shitty weed, outrageous prices, dicy locations and people etc...no thanks. So this'll keep me going till the CSS and GLP are ready.

Came out alright in the end. Not to bad for a lil, non trained plant. Nugs are of a decent size, and they're pretty firm. Didn't do a wet weight...happy to just wait a few days and see what I actually have in the end. I have an idea in my head though...but I wanna know what y'all think first.

Anyone care to throw in a guess for the final weight?

I quess 1.5 oz. looks yummy you will love the glp me and the girl have had a few tester nugs and wow, even know its not ready with a quick dry By far better than anything i have had in a long time.

Re the GLP, thats great to hear. As each day goes by my GLP is just getting better and better. The smell is getting much stronger, and "deeper" if you catch my drift. Looks like its going to yeild pretty well too...for its size anyways. 2-3 more weeks to go... cant wait.

And re the Big Bang. My initial estimation was for 35g or 1.25oz, once its all de stemed. Ill be content wirh anything over an oz.

Update:

I potted up the seedlings today. They've been put into 200mm (3.3L) pots. I wanted to do it a couple of days ago but had to postpone it a couple of days...and they were definitely ready for the move. They all had very nice roots going on. Check out the pics. I think they're ready to explode. The next few weeks should be fun.

I don't have a predetermined veg time. I'll just veg until I almost entirely fill the tent footprint. Im thinkin another 3-4 weeks, but we'll see.

Ey mate,
Nah, not doing 12/12 from seed. I just put them in there for 12 hours while the light is on in there, then into the 400w tent for 6 lights on, and 6 hours dark. I have more than enough room in the big tent, and more than enough wattage so figure why not. Saves me running the 400w tent for 12 hours at least.

Gave the CSS a cheeky squeeze before lights out, and fuck me, its damn solid. They're gonna be some nice buds.

Also, popped a couple of lil popcorn buds onto the ballast when I harvested the Big Bang so they'd dry quickly. Had a look before and they were bone dry. So I've chopped it up and am smoking it as we speak. Obviously it doesnt taste amazing, and could be a lil smoother, but the high is definitely there. And its pretty good. Not blow your socks off strong but a nice mellow high...I like it.

Thanks mate. And yea, that was my initial thought with the WWxBB cross, but Im not so sure now. We all know its not as simple as crossing the two and getting the potency, with size. Unless you're prepared to pheno hunt (which im not right now) its probably not the best choice in my opinion. My WWxBB has by far the least trichomes of the lot. Smells pretty good though. On the other hand, im also growing Critical Sensi Star, and Critical as we all know is reworked Big Bud, and that plant is really looking good. Big buds, lots of trichomes, good calyx to leaf ratio. If the potency is there I think it'll be a winner. Its supposed to be 18% THC...but we'll see.
