1000w 32 inches away?

my plants are roughly 2 weeks old and at 32 inches away from the light, is this too far? will i se stretching?

i been having them around 27 inches and just raised it because of high temps.

Its not too high, but if you can get the temps down you can drop it pretty close to the tops.
Closer is better if you can.

word....i`ll be dropping the light back down ina few days when the temps outside go back down to normal (heat wave). probably like to 2 feet or lower, or lower it to 2 feet and let the planbts grow into the light

I slowly drop mine down into the sweet spot gradually when it gets hot here. That way I can
watch the temps and not fry them, then I raise them as the plants grow.

CC, you're also hardening them to the harsh light as well as protecting them from the high temps. Too much light on a young plant can kill it.

I ususally keep.mine.about 14-16 inches away that way all plants get light too
