well the manual and box said nothing about booster but a rookie mistake I guess I ordered a 735 free air cfm blower. Because its being vented quite aways away ill still be able to use the booster at the end of the line right before the carbon filter

If anyone has a cheap solution I would be ecstatic
Well if you want to find a cheap solution i suggest that you go through every online hydro store and try finding the cheaper fan that you need, the cheapest i could find for my 600 HPS was a 445 cfm
fan for all around $120 and it works perfect what i am doing with mine is blowing cold air through and out the fixture. And another thing do you have fresh cool intake air and a exhaust fan, if you do remember you have to have the intake air coming in the from the bottom and the exhaust on the top of your grow room, and you should try blowing the hot air to your ceiling insted of under your house remember heat rise's. Now what you have to go do is get a inline fan insted of a booster fan because thats not cutting it you need strong fans for strong lights. You shouldnt worry about going cheap if you know what you are doing cause thats when you get the payoff....

82 is fine but even with a 75F temp under a 1000w HPS, if your plant arent big enough they'll get some kind of burned bleached...
Like the other guy said a 1000W is not cheap to keep cool.. i run 2x 1000w and the Vortex 449CFM isint sufficient for sure, next upgrade is a 8inch 800cfm blower.

well im using 1500 cfm fan now shortened my exahaust lines and took out a 90 degree angle. Im at 90 degrees again... I dont get it...:cuss: I mean its 97 today outside... can I hope for anthing better then 90 in my 3x5 ft closet with 1000w? Should I go from passive intake to active? Will this give me a few degrees? Also I was told flat white paint on everything in a room my size will drop the temp a couple degrees is this true???

I don't know if you read my post......but I gave you a couple solutions to solve your problem..I live in a very hot area......and I run 1 1000 1 400 on 1 270 cfm can fan......I use a/c.....there is no way around it......for me....ohh and I run my lights at night only......

.........Do you vent cold air in??.....Without an a/c or cool air intake...your room/area will keep warming up....one solution is to set your ventilation like this......outside--------->>>ducting-------------->>>cool tube-------->>>ducting--------fan--------->>ducting--------------------->>outside-------->>>>>> then with another fan pump cool air in or get an a/c........if another fan is not an option then leave the way you have it....but try to keep your grow area as sealed as possible and put an intake duct.....like that the fan is sucking the air out creating a vacuum forcing air in from the intake...make sure the intake is hooked up where it has access to cold cool air.......those 1000 watt lights are not cheap to keep cool.....I don't know what region your in but if you have hot summers like I do you might need an a/c...

I dont know if you read my post , but the stanley is the cheapest and best out there, google "stanley blower fan mod" i dont understand why everyone isnt using these.
i also think you need air conditioning man. gl

heres a pic of 3- 1000w cooled by the stanley i just happen to have.. i think i read that it really only comfortably cools 2k, but still impressive for $50
