what size fan do you guys use to exhaust your 1000 watt I am into my first week flowering and the hps raised my temps from 85 to 95 I need help what size fan should I use for a 4x7x8 room? I have a 142 cfm fan for my air cooled hood but I need more ventilation I think.

i had this same problem when i uped from floros to my 1000 watter if you have an air cooled hood your looking at needing an inline fan about 6 in 400 sfpm square feet per minute should do it but you can have that air come back into the grow room you want it to go from the outside to the outside that way its taking all the hot air produced out without letting it into your room at all
if you have the money say 350.00 you may want to look at a water cooled system search water cooled grow light on google youll need a 50 gallon tank per 1000 watt light and what this will do is drop the temps of your light to the point were you can actually hold it in your hand well running so iv heard try moving it out into a larger room untill you can get the equipment to take the temps down because you arent doing any good by having that plant in that room could hermi and if it dosnt it will drop your yeildd i moved mine into a spare room for about a week till i could get the good stuff
