General rule is that a 3-gallon pot will support a plant for 3 months. Why would anyone try to keep a plant 1000 months? BigSteve.
That was dumb steve.
I have seen 6-8lb + plants done in 300 gal smart pots. 99 at a time. Not terribly uncommon in Humbolt county. If you're looking for large yeild and less concerned w smoke try cyderella 99.
Yes sir!
If you wanna thin really big ,,, planet earth's volume is 1,097,509,500,000,000,000,000 cubic meters,, so plant one in the ground and challenge anyone to beat your record
That was also dumb. But in a smart way !

Rule of thumb in the bigger the pot the bigger the plant.. However there are variations that taken consideration.. If you wanna use anything above four hundred gallon you must have a big enough plant as a starter If i was using a thousand gallon pot I would start my plant indoors in December.. Then in march1st transition to a Greenhouse with lights minimum size pot of 15 gallon . Then an additional two months in a greenhouse... Do not let the plant outside until the daylight matches The artificial light in greenhouse 16/18 hours ..then in June 7th transplant to a 1000 gallon northern california mendocino You should get anywhere from 10/18 lbs... each hole must be 12 feet apart That is where you will weigh your benefits You would have less space when growing thousand gallon ...I would do short 18 inchdeep 6-9 ft all around... Rule of thumb a plant will grow 2/3rds past its whole that it lives in..10 ft wide pot can grow out 6 more feet past its center hole 2/3 rds past

I want to know if its possible to grow 5-10 pound plants in a greenhouse in 1000 gallon pots? I know a lot goes into this answer and its not simple. The question is IS IT POSSIBLE?
Idk about the yield but you can grow some stupid sized plants pretty easily with the right genetics and care and a good climate and a bit of luck but you would always be better with them in the ground directly vs a massive pot

Correction I did not clarify I would dig the whole in the ground roots do better underground because of temperature I have never seen a 18 lb But I have seen fifteen n a 400 gallon or more in the ground dug by hand Medium was cocoa And A lot of beneficial bacteria all organic and make that coco hot With amendments.. I do not think you can get this type of quality or yield in most places in the united states something about mendocino county in the surrounding counties in the triangle do really well
