Yeah actually I was thinking temperatures the other way around - those they're selling are for the outdoors, so maybe that specific compost worm strain isn't so good for the indoors. Also, I find my red wigglers romp all the way through the 15cm depth they have, I imagine they'd go deeper in soil that is a more "developed" form of this:as long as those are native to your frosty area they should be good to go!
they really do make a nice addition to the soil

I love my wormbin, if I could shrink myself I'd join the wigglers for a dive haha, the first generation of babes just hatched too
