I started with MG potting mix(i know it's not preferred) and mixed a good amount of perlite and horticultural sand. The soil has a nice airy texture but I haven't Ph tested yet though. I germed the seeds with a sterile wet paper towel on a sterile plate covered with a sterile bowl. I am using a 4 Ft. 80 Wt FL for now. The seedlings seem to be growing at a good rate but some have just started developing brown spots on the leaves and the seedlings are leaning. Here are some pics...

Also, not sure why but the perlite seems to be turning orange...any help or suggestions are much appreciated as this is my 1st attempt to grow.

P.S. I have 2 strains and i am not sure which these are i think they are BOG Lifesaver though

I will transplant to bigger pots and get a Ph tester. Will those spots go away or will they just not show up on the new growth??

Cool. Thanx a ton!! So when i transplant u think i should just use the MG potting mix and add some extra perlite but don't add any sand??

Check the underside of the leaves if there is little specs[black dots] then you may have spider mites.I would also re~pot the plants now to a bigger pot flush them before the re~potting and it might just be salt build up.Flush with a ph of 5.0/5.5 just water.I would also add a drop of superthrive to every litre of water this will help the plant along.

Captain 420 I would suggest you just restart since your already this early into the grow.

Next time you plant your plants make sure when you germinate your seeds to not plant them as soon as they have a sprout. Wait about 2 to 3 days after first sign of sprout and make sure there always moist and let there sprouts extend about an inch to an inch an a half and then plant.

Also Miracle Grow or not you should be fine. When you mix your soil with sand make sure your putting about a TBSP of sand for each cup of soil. You dont want to overload on your sand to soil ratio.

After you mix your soil with your sand water your pot of soil until it just starts to drain out the bottom. Before your plant your seed! Then put the soil under your light while your seed is doing xtra germination days, so the soil can dry and the water pushes some of the nutrients in the soil down lower to help your plant from getting nutrient burn cause remember its just a baby when planted.

Keep its on a 18/6 light cycle and make sure your temps are safe and steady.
