10 days into 12/12 and NO signs of sex or anything Please help

Hi

I have a lightproof budbox with 400w HPS and I vegged my 9 plants for just over 4 weeks (until 13in - 17in tall) All was going great except I had heat troubles and have to leave a gap in the front door of the Budbox to let the heat down (i do have fans going aswell.)

Anyway I am 11 days into 12/12 (I started on 16/8 for the whole 4 weeks) and I still have nothing in terms of sex. All the new growth looks exactly the same as it always has.

Am I being impatient or am I in trouble? all help appreciated. Thanks

Also forgot. I have 4 Lemon Skunk Fem & 5 Flying Dragon Fem. As Iknow some strains are different from others. Cheers

how big is you grow space and hows the ventalation??

You should be on 18/ 6 and I run my vegging 24/7Where your light regiment was off it may take a couple extra days.Some srains Ive grown have taken a full two weeks to show sex .Are these fems or regs because you should see males by now

I have 1metre sq. with about 1.2 mtrs height
the ventilation is good in the light period but probly not good during dark as my fans linked to the same power supply as the lamp

Its aggrivating not to be able to post right away,Dont let those temps get over 85

that is fine, its only from 8pm - 8am that the fans off. Then at 8am when the light comes on I open the front door of the growspace and the temps stay around 85 at most. Will I see signs of flowering soon?? I am worried Ive wasted time and money here

u should if there are no light leaks and there enviorment is healthy.,.,.,.,.are those sativa or indica?sativas take a little longer to do everything sometime.,.,patience

Thanks for all the help so far. I dont even know for sure but I think they were a mix of indica and sativa. Not sure of any percentages or whatever. Just cant wait ot smoke it

Sativa's usually take longer to show sex in my past experience. I also think they were kind of young at a 4 weeks old to start flowering. Maybe 6 weeks is better.

heres my oppinion

cannabis plants run in terms of maturity as well as by a light cycle meaning you really shouldnt flower your plants until the preflowers have shown. this signals the plant has reached vegetative maturity and is ready to flower.... (it will also give you an indication on the plants sex)

quite simply you may have a strain that has a long flowering time or as mentioned didnt reach vgetative maturity and is taking a bit longer to react.

the lifecycle of a cannabis plant goes like this
germination stage
seedling stage
vegetative stage
---preflower--- this shows the plant is reaching vegetive maturity and is ready to be flowered any time now
Flowering stage
if pollinated the seed stage
then
--flowering maturity AKA harvest time

Believe it or not guys, I went and had a good inspection of em after chatting with you and I can see thin, curly yellow hairs on 5 of the 9. It looks new and I think they are fems. Could they still be hermie and what should I do if htey can

The thing is I bought them from Greenhouse Seeds and they said 4 weeks - 5 weeks vegging. I done 4 weeks and 4 days. They got pretty tall (without stretching at all) and I didnt want to deal with 8 ft monsters lol

don't worry bro...they'll come along...as mentioned above ^^^it takes a couple to a few weeks to show signs of sex before they're at their vegetative maturity. Be patient and things will go fine...just don't get over zealous with nutes and waterings...less is always better...your lighting scheds are on track...just keep on doing what you're doing...GL!

Ive only been vegging GHS seeds abot 30 to 40 days and they are still three and a half feet when finished stretching and thats with Hortelux eye.This being your first grow you will love GHS seeds.They pretty well grow thier selfves, I have the Trainwreck mother now and Arjan fucked me on that Alaskan Ice,It sucked Heres a picture of some GHS TW clones at 33 days My clones show sex in 5 days but seeds take longer 24 hour veg makes plants bud faster,I think?Heres a few pis took yesterday on day 33

i had some bagseeds that took 16 days to show 1 tiny pistil... patience...

Sorry for the noob ? but, when u say 16 days do you mean into flower or in veg. I always thought u did'nt see sex untill light shedule is switched to 12/12 can somebody better explain to me the the way this step works before i get too far in not knowing.

Right...16 days into flowering (12/12 light schedule). Usually you veg for a few weeks then switch...
