10 10s or 20 5s?

An opportunity is coming up to change some big parts of my situation. Included in that is a 16x20x8 foot grow room.

I originally kicked the idea around of splitting it up and going perpetual, but it's really rather get down to one or two crops per year instead of being chained to the grow.

For lighting, 9 400 watt metal halide, 3 600 watt HPS, and a few random blurples.

I haven't quite figured out ventilation yet.

But this thread is about the pots themselves.

I'm looking to veg 6-8 weeks from rooted clone, then flip. Most likely going with a scrog.

Right now I'm leaning towards 20 5 gallon pots, as it's more work but would let me run 5 of each strain to keep variety up.

I just really like the idea of bigger pots for bigger plants.

Which way would you go? And why?

If you're planning on a 6+ week veg, I would use the 10s..
I had a 9 stage perpetual going until recently, and needed the 10gal size for that length of veg.
