So I'm pretty sure that I am going to start flowering in about a week. My plants have been veging for about 2 months now with a few troubles along the way. Currently I am running 14 CFL's to the tune of about 23800 lumes. The plants are currently in pretty good shape after a little battle with F'ing gnats I have 2 in there that I believe are of the Sativa strain that I think have to go. They seem to be bushier but much further behind and harder to maintain than the others, they then to get yellow leaves and they are lighted on the sides. I am thinking that I should remove these 2 plants and focus the light on the others. I am also thinking of buying a couple lights to put under the plants for light for the lower leaves. I have topped the plants as you will see in the photo's. I think that in about a weeks time I should be ready to put into flower. Let me know if you think that it's to soon. I'm not really in any hurry to go into flower. (although I'd like to know if I got any girls here) and smoke it!!! :weed::leaf::weed:

Thanks again RIU

:peace:

I plan on doubling my lighting during flowering from about 14 to 28 lights. I have the ability to keep the area well vented and the temp controlled so it should be not a problem. Does that seem like over kill to double my lighting for flowering?

Hell no...i think its needed for all grow ops, and being able to vent and temp controlled is just icing on the cake..

Okay I just didn't want to go over board for no reason. although the amount of lighting I need for flowering will depend on how many females I have correct? or do I increase the lighting as soon as I start flowering?

not bad at all, i would suggest u look into lst because they will get big by the looks of them, im not sure how much room u have but it would deff help as far as height goes and evens out ur canopy for max light absorption

man flower all, take out the males, flower the females full strength, that thats it. as far as lighting goes, put what you would consider enough light. if you dont have temp probs, your golden. just make sure in your whole venting process they get enough humidity

Fair enough I figure I will switch to 12/12 next sunday and see how it goes. I dont have a temp problem the room is air conditioned. Hopefully I will have a nice bunch of ladies on my hands.(and my girl won't even get pissed!)

Thanks man

Why the poll bro?

You can't tell if your plants are female or

male?

I'm confused... You don't know the

difference between a male/female

plant... yet you know how to grow?

Just wondering.. as I am willing to

help ya out.. but im just confused

about this thread.. and what you

said. Eh.. anyhow your plants

look great to me.. I know I could

see at least one Female plant in

the crowd. So yea.. keep them

going dude.

well I could be wrong but before you put the plants in flower you can't tell the sex is that correct?? The poll was to see if others thought I should rid of the 2 plants there were not fairing as well........I wouldn't say I know how to grow I am very green at this, interested to hear which you think is a female...

are those 1 liter pots? i say transplant to at least gallon pots and water with superthrive for a week. then flower them. its going to be hard to maintain a healthy root system in those small pots. and they have been crowding in there for 2 months now?? thats torture! make the next 2 months of flower as comfortable as possible.
