i would like to know too. Am 5 days into flowering and i think I've got a bit root bounding going on, have just brought a huge 20L bucket (about 4gallons i think?) so am going to transplant tonight, *hopefully* should fix our problem. But don't want to stress plant.....so ideas on how not to would be great :)

my thought is that it may not be root bound yet but it sure as hell will be in the next few weeks so i thought i should do it now because the farther it is into flowering doesnt that make a much more risky maneuver??

I would leave it in that pot. Its plenty big. The roots dnt grow much in flowering. You will stunt the shit out that plant if ya do transplant it.
There is no debate on that one.

It will be ok. They wont grow out. They die when they hit the air pretty much.
AIR ROOT PRUNING. Its ok.
