1 thing I don't understand about sexing?

Can pollen sacks open before you start the flowering stage? If you were to veg for a long time can they open in the vegetative stage?

They will not open until after they show sex, so once they are induced into flowering. They can't open if there isn't anything there yet!

they can open as soon as the sprout comes out of the dirt so you have to be EXTREMELY gentle when the balls are in your hands

Maybe this is where I am at a misunderstanding. Will they show pre-flowers during the vegetative stage? I was under the impression that they will.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. So back to my original question. While in vegetative if I let males go a few extra days but never put them into flowering, can they pollinate?

Yes. Depending on how long you veg for they will begin to flower regardless of light schedule. This takes quite a long time however.

That applies to both male and female.
