I plan on letting her take her time, no rush

Nope, this is my 1st time, trying this. See how it works out. I've read that the Mh has UV in it that makes your buds more potent.
Don't know if there's any truth to this but I'll give it awhirl

Tomorow will be the 1st day of week 7.
Just 1 shot of her and a shot of the room, got my Bubba Kush and Blue Widow in there for 12 hours then put them back in with the cfl's to keep vegging
since I put the Mh in there last night. Why waste more power than you have to?

let me know how the mh works out for the last few weeks roc. i also read 5 days before harvest use rinse on the 5th and 4th day before then use straight water for the final 3, keep the plants in complete darkness for those last 5 days. jorge cervantes says it socks the plant into having more resin ive tried it twice and if anything it saves me from running 4 1000w lights for 5 days. i am anxious to see the finished flowers.

Yea I don't know about the darness. I think light would be a good thing right up to the end.

i was unsure the first time i tried it so i only did the darkness for 2 days. i didnt see any change in my plants so this time i did it for 4 days and still no cahnge in my final harvest so the way i see it i spend $11 daily on power so that $44 i save with no harmful effects. i grow hydro in a cube on a tray though so my results may be different than urs

That would be a $ saver, I only use a 400 so I'm not too bad, it's only 25 extra a month with the inline fan.

Looking great! Curious as well as to how the MH will effect them. I've supplimented with UVB bulbs for reptiles and definately saw a difference. Might check out ReptiSun 10.0 CFLs. Alil pricey, I think $10 for a 23w but you can really feel the UV. Sit too closely for too long and you'll give yourself a sunburn (I did).

Well I looked in today and decided to take a couple pics, she's starting to look like something now.
I cut a couple testers off, now I'm down to 17 tops.
The Mh is giving her some nice trich's action. In just a few days too. I noticed a diff.
I'm going to go 2 weeks with the Mh and if I need longer I'm going to switch back to Hps.

Hm, Looking cool, I have a 400w MH gathering dust, maybe I could run my 600 HPS and 400w MH for the last 2 weeks of 12 and 12? why right?

I'd be doing that anyways if I was you, but more $$ on the bill and the temps will be high

yeah I'm just concerned about the temps because I have an air cooled reflector and an inline fan with my HPS and the MH is a built in ballast.
Right now temps are perfect at 78, I'm afraid the 400 will make things annoying, and this far into the grow the last thing I want is annoying.

Yea, then I wouldn't bother, if you don't have another fan for it
I have Mh with the ballast attached too, all it's doing is collecting dust as well.

Well I decided to chop today!!!!!!
The buds are soo dense and the pistils haver receded, there were only a very few white curled pistils left at the very top
My wet weight = 239.1 g's so if I get 25% I'll have 59.77 g's, but I think I'm gonna get more because of the density of these buds.

Nice!!.. 2 oz's + should keep you going for awhile. Post up the smoke report after your done drying and curing.
