1 month 24 hr cfl straight in 12/12 flower... bad?

I think this didnt work too well

i did a 24 hr cfl veg and the plants were beautiful and bushy
then i went into flower for a 12/12

and they stretched so badly it kinda negated the bushy vegging period.
now i have 3 foot plants! with only like 4-6 bud sites ontop.

maybe I have to slowly go from 24 to 18 to 12? over course of a few weeks?

Yea I haven't done 24 hour vegging just 18/6 i dont see a point in wasting the life on bulbs no mater if there hps cfls or led cuz they can all get expensive... when i switched from 18/6 to 12/12 my plants stretched a bit not a lot but compared to when there vegging nice and short and bushy.. the only thing u can do is either scrog or some sort of LST if space is an issue...

no need to slowly switch that doesnt matter

keep the cfls close as pos, water at lights on and make sure you got some blue light as well as red to stop stretch, i only have around 2ft growing space with 400 hps but i manage, and like the guy said lst

i am flowering under 1000w hps... actually

they always stretch under a hps but how far away is light
