1 light for 2 Flower tents?

Trying to get a rotating harvest with (3) 3x3 tents. I want to get (2) Timber 4vs eventually for the flower Tents but only have enough for 1 now. Could I get away with moving the light every 12 hours for a cycle or two effectively or should I just hold off and wait?

and would a 2x4 veg better for 2 3x3 spaces?

Sure you could,but i'd imagine that would become a pain in the ass real quick.

I guess it is really whether its worth a $615 pain in the ass for 2-3 months then?

Id probably swap early am and have my partner swap it if Im going to be later. So less of a pain I hope, worth discussing since we are on a budget and it helps start up cost though yeah?

I would wait. Or just buy a cheaper light like a 315 CMH or 400 HPS for the second tent until you can swing the light you want.

Moving the light everyday just seems destined for failure. All it would take is a minor life change and your whole schedule could get screwed up.

Man, just moving my plants in n out of the shed for a month was a pain, not the labor but having to be there on that schedule.
If I had to do it 2 to 3 months.
I would hate growing

Well If thats the case, would it be better to just do a 2 tent for now, try to harvest every 2 months

2x4 with the 260 xl qb for seedlings/veg and then a mother plant after the phenohunt in half of the 2x4.

Ideally I want a 4 plant 3x3 scrog, but have little actual practical experience.

(1) 3x3 Tent Flower with the 4vs until im ready to add the 2nd flower tent.

Should this work well?

I just don't have the mental energy to read and understand your whole situation, sorry, BUT:

There is a way to utilize one ballast between two tents by just buying an extra bulb/fixture and cord. Ballast runs 24 hours and you use a timed switch to direct the electricity back and forth between the two tents. Did I explain that well? And would that help?

The tldr version: I might just do a 2 tent rotation until I can afford the 3rd 3x3 light ect; and just not worry about moving the light for now. Im going with Quantum Boards or Cob leds.

explaination:
My situation is just starting out and being uncomfortably anxious to make sure my purchases make sense from people who have much more experience. Id rather not have to change equipment at all for a while once purchased.

Good idea to be sure you have a sustainable plan before putting out hard cold cash that you'll never get back.

That one ballast switched between two tents is called a flip flop in case you want to research it. Good luck...JD
