What type of grow will yield me the most with a 15 plant limit (with 2 mothers) and an available 120+ cubic feet of grow space (6 feet of height)?

I can't seem to get started with my grow because I can't seem to get that question answered (and I am moving in January, but I want everything to be ready by the time I move). I've seen people pull 2+ zips a plant under a 1k watt using SCROG, but I have a lot of height available to me, so I'm not quite sure if that is the best option or not.

I am not going to do this half assed. I want my setup to be maximizing efficiency of the grow space in terms of maximum yield or why is it even worth doing? An oz a plant is almost not even worth it.

5 gallon pots either smart pots or hempy or something like that. You can grow 5' trees with great yields and keep under the limit. (depending on your ceiling height).

Research Kitty is doing a commercial grow using some smart type pots. I dont use this method but there is plenty of info on the forums.

Would vegging longer with that much height for bigger plants bring in more yield per year than small plants harvested more often throughout the year? Just can't seem to figure out what type of grow to do, but I will be sure to check out Research Kitty. Thank you for the help

If you are limited to 15 plants then bigger is better. And you wont be able to grow them 5' high if you only have 6' ceilings... Probably looking back down to around 3'.

But yeah, you are gonna have to look toward bigger.

1 foot for the pot, 3 feet for the plants, and 2ish feet for the hps. Sounds about right. So would it make sense to veg + flower all 13 at the same time? Or do a perpetual 6/7 plant double harvest grow? Assuming the specs I'm using (120+ cubic feet) 15 plants surely could fit in there, but wouldn't more light reach more foliage and increase yields if I put 6/7 into flower every 6 weeks? Or would stuffing twice as many into flower at the same time make the yield bigger?

If I do the perpetual 6 week harvest, I would have to veg out the second set of plants for a few months, so they would be huge by the time they went to flower. So maybe that's not the best choice anyway.

So with only 3 feet between the top of the pot and the bottom of the light, would it make sense to veg it only to about two feet tall? Then throw to flower because it'll probably add another foot in the next 8 weeks?

And should I top for 4 main colas to decrease the height of the main cola (and it seems like that would increase yield, too)?

Depending on the root ball I would toss them in at 12" and pray they dont do more than triple. But the size of the pot and media is really important in determining size.

Thanks wanna, I started a thread but no one has noticed it yet. But my question was, I just started my 600w mh light yesterday. It turned on fine, got very bright, and didn't seem to have anything wrong with it. Today when I checked it after work, the light was on, (turned on at 6 a.m.) but when I checked it at 9:30 p.m. it was pulsating and kind of humming to the pulsations. I've never used MH lights before so I don't know if they do that from time to time, or if they do that if they get too hot (temp inside the tent was 78). Not sure why it was doing this, yesterday it worked fine. I've tried researching it online, but I can't find anything about a light that turns on fine, but pulsates after getting to full brightness.
