1.2m tent flower 1m tent veg?

I am currently living in a flat and short on space... i need you guys to help me out a little.

im growin 9 plants in a 1.2 meter tent at the moment but i want to use a veg room aswell to cut time between harvest down.

My plan is to veg 9 plants in a 1m tent
then flower them in a 1.2 meter tent.
400 for veg 600 for flower?

I want the time scale to work out so i would need to use clones.
Chronic is the strain and i will be working with one pheno when its all good to go.

I really want to go hydro to make the most of the root space but i havnt used it yet

what would be the best method of hydro for this scale?
and what do i do with mothers? I have always used seeds. no way i can fit mothers in a 1m tent along with the 9 veg plants.. its all so confusing to me..

thats the jist of it can anyone elaborate and help me out a little?

My main problem is the mothers, only way i can think of doing it is by having a third tent for mothers but its a lot of space...
I guess you could just clone the veg plants before you flower them...

but hydro worries me i dont want to screw up... individual dwc seems expensive,and a lot of work, a tray would be good i suppose with flood and drain. but how would i submerge all the pots? i would need a deep tray....
I have only ever grown soil and seed so its hard to picture what will work,

Im just looking for people using Hydro in tents to see what options work best.

You dont have to have another tent for the mothers, simply cut clones off your vegging plants before flower

cheers, year i have only ever cloned in soil before and tbh they all turned out pretty crappy, took too long to root and half of then died.

Might go for a top feed system and try the clone before flower way. I hope hydo is as easy as they say because im sick of soil now.
