1-2 wks. left-- Heavy rains coming all next week!

i have a couple plants that are 1-2 weeks away from harvest.. the 2 are gonna be done first.. i checked the trichs on both of them.. one looked like it had a pretty good amount of amber. and the other no so much.. these are both 7-9 week strains. read on the website where i got them saying they could be done anywhere between 7-9 not on the 9th.. these are outdoor oviously do most outdoor push towards the end of those numbers? anyway heres my real question.. been raining past coupld days here, most all summer! just checked the weather.. tommorow it suppose to rain in the morning alittle bit and be nice. then sat and sun are suppose to be sunny.. mon- fri is the furthest i could check.. and it says heavy rain all week.. i really wana wait till these are perfect and have alot of amber trichs.. looking at the nug it looked to have a good amount on there.. also ive had problem with mold on this one plant with alot of amber and a week of rain probally wouldnt help to much.. what should i do then.. harvest the one and leave the others. maby try to go out ad cover the other ones when its raining? what you guys think?

also, if i leave the other 7-9 week out will a whole week of rain and no sun make it go longer? or 7-9 anything after that it looses potency?

thanks

i would buy a clear tarp from home depot and make a small tent to cover the plant from the rain. and after the rain go out and shake any excess water off the plants. thats what i would do atleast. you dont have to put too much money into. just make it so it can stay up for the last few weeks of your grow.

Yes, outdoor plants need just as long. I am giving my outdoor ladies approx 10 weeks each. You can only push them as far as they'll let you, as once the majority of your trichs on the plant go amber, you are at the point where it's a maximum couchlock high, and anything past there and the THC/CBN/CBD levels will actually start to DEGRADE! So if you have amber on some and all the hairs have have gone from white to brown/red/orange, it sounds like you might want to be flushing and preparing to pull. I agree with the recommendation above. I am a greenhouse grower, so anyone in your position, I usually say it's best to just goto home depot/lowes and buy 4 posts/stakes and some clear 4 mill plastic sheeting. You can easily use this stuff to create cover for your girls that will keep all that unwanted moisture out that can cause mold, mildew, budrot, ... If they do get wet and you find them taking a bit to dry, even on a nice day, try busting a fan out with an extension cord if you are in reachable distance of them from an outlet and run that on them for a few hours. The extra air flow will help them dry out much faster.

Hope this helps!
