Chopped the 1 and 3 gallon today. The 2 gallon is acting stupid and for some reason maturing sloooooooowwwwwly.

Here are the 1 gallon and 3 gallon bags cut open laying on their sides. The red is where the trunk was. A lot more congestion in the 1 gallon for sure.

Sounds like you had different phenotypes , that can affect flowering times , yield , potency , flavors, etc.....

i believe "stalk" is the proper terminology for that part of the plant.

No I haven’t. My opinion is you can do much better splitting the soil up like this:

Take the 7 gallons of dirt and fill two 3 gallon pots and a 1 gallon.

Or

Take the same dirt and fill three 2 gallon pots and a 1 gallon.

I only have experience with indoor.

What is your thought of putting 2 plants in one 3-5 gallon pot?

Never put two plants in the same pot. There will be no room for lateral branching and light penetration thus decreasing your yield by a lot.

Ya not a good idea. I’ve done it. I suppose if you are making seeds, in some cases, it might work well if space is an issue.
