HELP! harvesting first plant & finding microscopic bugs!

I'm assuming this is an outdoor grow (if it's indoor, step #1: do some serious tidying up). Without pics, hard to tell, but could be bud worm (gasp!). Nasty little buggers. Kill them with fire (OK maybe not fire). Here's a thread on them... http://kylekushman.com/topic/budworms/ In it, it...

    Seed Giveaway for Newbies?

I got a sweet, north facing window box in Toledo to grow them in (I'll use some of that fill the highway dept. is filling that ditch with). I think I'll use GH Flora at double strength (yeah, that's the ticket). I'll post photos of the withered up sticks and dirt.

Would you be growing weed if it weren't legal

Scransom, you really started something. Love me some peppers, too. Got me a little patch of cayenne, kashmir, poblano and bells -- along with some Brandywine and Juliet tomatoes. I'd be growing mj even if it were legal in my little corner of the world. Ooh, Cran-pepper -- that sounds really...

    Plant problem

My thought was overfeeding, Tim says overwatering -- probably both. To incorporate Tim's advice, let it dry out for a couple days. Then flush with *no* M-G (you want to rinse out what may have built up). Then follow up with watering less often with less M-G.

    Is my GGxwhite widow done?

Hard to be patient with the first grow (or the 100th), but a little more time will pay off nicely. FYI, you don't necessarily need a microscope. a jewler's loupe works great to check your trichs - not that expensive.

    Plant problem

Yeah, man, my first instinct is too much M-G. Give them a good flush. Water them without the M-G until you see a good flow out the bottom of the pot. Same next watering. After that, only use the M-G every other watering. Miracle-Gro is 24-8-16 (I think, I don't have it in front of me)...

    Plant problem

How much Miracle-Gro (per gal) are you using? Not a fan of MG for my indoor garden. If you're using MG every watering, it's probably too much. Try flushing the soil with plain water a time or two.

    How's my plant doing?

I wouldn't rely on the smell the sex the plant. Top your girl, clone the top and put under 12/12. If it turns out male, toss them both -- if it's female, then, yay, now you have two girls.

Which Strains Are Best For Possible High Heat Situations???

For what it's worth, I'm a homebrewer, and I like to make my yeast starters in my grow tent to give it a little extra boost of CO2. During colder months I'll even let my ales ferment out the batch in the tent -- lotsa CO2. But you don't want to do that when it's too hot (butt-nasty beer). But...

    ”Feminized” or “Regular” seeds....and why?

Personally, I would go feminized only. You get girls only (under satisfactory conditions) -- no wasting time, energy, money, nutes, etc. on males. However, it not BS that feminized seed CAN go hermy or even male when stressed out. If you're growing outdoors in high temps (and other stressers...
