All that I did was bend the top or main stalk to match the heights of the other branches, most were at the same height. In the beginning i did tie down the 4 bottom most branches but then eventually let them do there own thing.

I started out with power strips on all 4 sides, i had some extra laying around, then I used the small light sockets you can get at walmart, or home depot, and I bought y splitters for them, So effectively I could have 2 bulbs surrounding each side of the plant i will elaborate more on that...
