I'm getting to a stage where my small but tedious legal grow hobby could use extra help. I tried with a patient, donating time for extra medicine but it didn't work out (forgot to water plants), so I'm thinking of recruiting a friend who is interested and competent. He would help in exchange...
I want to switch my veg room to LED after seeing the monstrous growth in one plant during veg under a cheap Amazon LED, compared to T5 and even the Ushio veg 600w. The room is about 100 sq ft. Who's the best vendor out there, but still cost effective? Presently I'm running about 800W's worth...
Anyone growing their own nutrients- flowers, grasses etc that have all the nutrients you need to grow without any/many external inputs? Would like to learn more if so
I've been using a 2 gallon tank with pump wand, it's been better than hand watering and even adjusts for foliar spraying, but I'm wondering if there's anything better out there?
I let the plant dry out after flushing. Usually about 3-5 days no watering and they're ready.
I harvest a few branches at a time into a sterilized bucket, cutting the fan leaves beforehand.
Next they go into drying room- upside down for the bigger buds, the smaller buds are cut and placed onto...
Thinking of going with solex panels- got a quote to replace the poly with it, it's about $3400 I think, plus labor (don't have it front of me).
Maybe after at least one run though. Still thinking this through. It's already setup for drip irrigation, would probably just need a pump.
I'm looking at a greenhouse, it's 30x90, owner said it's double poly. On a 30 degree day on winter last year it was around 60 in the greenhouse, had to take off my coat and the wood stove wasn't even running yet. Has a large exhaust fan and electricity nearby (200A). It's on a concrete slab...
Hehe well I get your point but my rationale is that pvc isn't carcinogenic until it heats up and burns so I'm assuming this stuff is smelling because it's under lights and getting warm (haven't put down mylar yet) so just curious.
Bwahahaha should have seen the last male... Total nutrient hog and massive.. snow wookie. Saved pollen and took a clone just in case, to take more pollen. The biggest ones are always males.
Is it normal that as of a week ago, these looked like normal females, and suddenly they switched?? Makes three males out of seven, are those regular odds with non-femenized seeds?
Thanks for all your inputs.
can someone tell me if this appears to be male plants or female plants that were pollinated? I had a couple of males, one I think I got to a little bit late and I'm not sure. Thank you
Is there enough time in an 11 week indoor soil crop cycle for a legume to sprout, grow and fixate enough nitrogen to be sufficient/impactful to the plant?
Grew in geo pots this year, thinking of doing the same next year but in 100-200gallons because 35-45 gallons just isn't doing it.
I'm also thinking of mushrooms, as well as of course compost/vermicompost.
I think teas are definitely the way to go for the most natural end result, and for reducing...
