Another thing i have been using my tap water which is not relatively hard i let it sit for 24 hrs before using. I want to switch to just buying distilled water will this be safer?

im super picky on the hood that comes with it, i dont know what to do im looking at some expensive hoods that are 35 inches and above and its clear to me that they would put off better footprints than the 6 inch cheaper hoods or cool tube reflectores

Smart pots are more expensive but they look the most sturdy, im an indoor gardener aswell.
