yeah Id say your just a bit paranoid as everyone is in the curing phase. That smell will cease once you burp more often and move around them buds, the smell is lingering b/c you havent burped enough IMHO, I had that problem, but I started to do things on a set schedule, soon as I goto the curing...

Aside from the responses you got, if you are so patient on waiting to cure + smoke your bud, why not be even more patient, and let her bloom to a desirable stage. IMHO, from your pics, you wont yield much from that at all unless you have an insane amount of pots going on, but if that is 1-3...

IMo... best way is to LST (low-stress-training) after you reached your desired height, or you can lst now, forcing it to bush out & stop vertical growth...bongsmilie

no don't top or clone, just LST *(Low-Stress-Training),your plant, and you will get a very bushy plant.... lst'ing your plant will be so awesome... keep stressing and you wil see how busy and low your plant will get....

Too much pearlite is in it... I had the same problem... Same plant... I watered out till the pearlite was to the top, then, added more soil to the top layer 'small-coating' not much... and let be for a few dyas and should be fine... *Personal experience, *I could be wrong..
