Electricity isn't really an issue with just one plant so I could just go for a 250w HID instead of 2 x 125w cfl? Would this be a better option? Also is it ok to use dual bulbs? or just get a red and a blue for the two stages..

Yeah dude no one lives there. Only I have the keys and when they come into the country I tend to be the one to go pick them up, my dad works out in the middle east. However its still not worth it, I am just going to stick to a small grow at my rented house for university.

Yeah you're right its not really possible to go with CFL's. My electricity bill would probably spike up at home which would make the rents suspicious.
