Slime in the dwc comes from adding sugar or homemade teas. dwc runs best with a synthetic nute.

The soil should dry out before rewatering if using peat. if using coco you need to keep it wet

The roots organic "soil" is actually a majority coco. If you want some pure soil go with happy frog or ocean forest. The advantages are a much bigger plant by growing in coco and watering daily. You can get monster leafs and stalks in very small pot size. You don't need to go bigger then a 1.5...
