perlite aerates the soil meaning it doesnt hold water, vermiculite does though. Try getting some water crystals from a nurserie, im pretty sure they release their water when the soil gets dry.

you might be underwatering them because I had the same problem when I was new to coco. I wasn't watering enough.

CFL's are only good for vegging in my opinion, for flowering you want atleast some kind of hps. Three cfl's for three plants is really bad.. Either get a shit load of em and cover your plants with them or get an HPS. Good luck

You could veg 3-4 plants with those lights it will just take a bit longer. But for flower get at least a 250watt hps. I use cfls for vegging and it works fine then i got a 400watthps for flower. Cfl's for flowering is just a waste of time in my opinion unless you get a shit load. have fun
