    Foggy calm nights.

Well I have some thoughts for you..my plots are all right next to a river with dense fog most every night. Three different methods. All with 1 drop of dish soap per gallon as a wetting agent or Cocowet for organic 1. Serenade one week 2. Baking Soda next week- 1 TBSP per gallon 3. Skim milk...

    Bud Rot

Don't forget a couple drops of dish soap to act as a sticking/wetting agent..each spray will go a lot further!

    Guerilla drying

Supposedly the Serenade is good to apply up to day of harvest as stated on the bottle and backed by different studies I read...the application could also be accomplished by foliar spray directly prior to chop but as far as the smell, that goes away pretty quickly, really a few hours and it's...

    Guerilla drying

Yeah i already almost caught my canoe on fire with my propane camping heater in my garage...don't ask...but point taken! lol Anyways I like your idea of using the tarp above..my only fear is the creeping fog getting under then tarp to envelope the vulnerable nugs and let the mold settle and...

    Guerilla drying

So drying indoors is out of the question. My goal is to dry and cure everything on site, which happens to be far from anything else. I'm basically limited to what I can haul in and out by kayak. Out on the river, it tends to get real foggy at night...to the point you can feel it when you...

Does morning dew contribute to mold?

Must be nice to be able to check them everyday. Battling bud mold + limited to one trip out a week in the rainiest year in recent memory = survival of the fittest, lol. It's funny to watch two plants of the same strain stand beside each other..one molding away, the other not a speck of mold.

Dr. Greenthumb Chemdawg Iranian Outdoor Grow 2013

I think my Chemdawgs went into flower no later than July 10th..I doubt there will be anything left standing after the 10th of september for my 6 iranian strains.

70 females submerged in a flood

Hey bro, anything with buds become muddy moldballs...I tried to wish it all off but the buds were literally packed full of dirt..it was a total loss of about half of my early finishers..anything that went underwater was ruined by the muddy water, basically.

70 females submerged in a flood

LOL that IS funny, I wish harm on no one or their project but karma does have a way of taking care of that on it's own anyways...I never did an update but luckily the flood waters here never made it the extra 5' the USGS hydrologic service predicted..my lowest lying plot was Iranian autoflowers...

    Ugh! mold!

I feel you bro. This summer is one of the wettest on record for this area and I've been busting my ass trying different things to stay on top of mold. 1 TBSP Baking Soda per 1 gallon of water...it's a well known recipe in the housing rehab industry for cutting any mold or mildew. Like the...

help--Trimming plants outdoors at gorilla location

I left an early finisher in a tree overnight last night; this morning it was molding already lol but we did get a light shower last night...just make sure you have some plastic draped over it so you don't have to worry about rain. For me this is a real bad year for mold, it's been raining here...

    Getawaymountain outdoor crop 2013

Getaway, how long does that kelp juice stay good for? I bought some back in February...not sure if I'm wasting my time using it still or no.

    Northern oHiGHo Outdoor 2013

I'm running some Iranian genetics near central Ohio...this rain, high humidity and cool temps have caused mold to take over half the plants I've had mature already or plants which are near to maturity...last some real beautiful buds and it is a heartbreaker seeing so much hard work lost...

Dr. Greenthumb Chemdawg Iranian Outdoor Grow 2013

All the Iranian AF's I grew turned out to be runts but I only ran them for about 3 weeks before I put them out hence the results..also had bud rot issues on all the AF's but it rained 16 days in a row here so I'm sure anyone else who had buds going in early July here had the same...

70 females submerged in a flood

I agree...this was a known risk although not a huge one..basically happens once every 10 years or so during growing season.. The only other option was corn fields, but the thought of damaging someone else's crop eliminated that thought. I'm faithful that MJ is resilient enough to pull through...

Thanks for your opinion, bro. It's just something that happens to fit in with my love for the outdoors. Guess I just don't quite live up to your standards. LOL
