So far I have been keeping my seedlings going at about 18 hours of light a day... When I transplant them to the outdoors is the light cycle from a real day going to effect the plants in any major ways?

Maybe the towel is not damp enough? I had seeds in a ziplock bag for 3 days with nothing. Took out the paper towel made it damper (much) and within 24 hours I had them sprouting.

She created it herself and bagged some. Her gardens are rather amazing with tomatoes, peas and vegetables but im not sure if thats good for weed.

Okay so my seeds have finally germinated and im in a dilema. The seeds are going straight outside now that they have germinated into the woods in a nice area I found. Now my question is whats the largest pot I could put them in? I ask that because I wish to transplant them as little as possible...

I just recently came up with the idea of growing and have got my seeds and just started germinating today. Is it too late to grow outside in NY now?
