When I harvest my plants, I cut off all of the leaves that I can. I just save the leaves with any trichomes on them to make edibles. Thinking about trying to make BHO or bubble hash next time.

Ya, I will use neem oil up until about the last 4 weeks of flowering. I always make sure to flush though. I spray the neem oil throughout my soil as I fill up the container, I found this helps early on.

I'll back you up on this. I am using a B.S. 240 and it is working great. Only thing is if you want a better warranty, don't go with BlackStar. It only has a one year compared to most others, who have a 3 year or even lifetime limited warranty. But besides that, great LED for the price.

I have never owned HID lights, so I will not be able to tell you for sure; not even done with my first harvest under LED's. But from what I have read, LED's will probably yield a little less. If you wanted the same results you will need to drop some $. From what people say about their lights on...

Is one flush a week before flowering enough? I have FoxFarm's schedule and they recommend a flush much more frequently. I am only using FoxFarm's Ocean Soil. I just picked up the schedule when I bought the soil?

I love the post. I had a question about pruning if you know the answer. Should you stop removing the smaller shoots once your plants go into flowering? I didn't know if it would have any negative effects once it is already flowering

If you can't sex a plant just look in google for pictures of the difference. It's easy as hell to tell the difference.

I have a just under a 3' by 1.5' grow area. I have one Blackstar240. It does great in the area I have, but I have a very small area to work with.

Just wondering.. What kind of yield can you expect from a plant grown in a party cup? I know it will vary by strain, just looking for an estimate.

Unfortunately when I was buying LED's I didn't have enough money to get a real nice LED. So i bought the B.S. 240, it is a good light for the area I am working with, just wish they had a better warranty. If I had the extra money I would have gone with the Black Dog or Area 51.

Posted a couple days ago. Here's a pic of my plants under my B.S. 240. Just put them into flowering and the one on the right is beginning to show female parts. They have been topped once.

I cut mine at the base, but first I completely trim the plant of every single leaf and let them dry separate. Then I just hang the plant by the a low node on the plant and let it sit until the stems are dry enough to crack. I can't see leaving all of the leaves on when they would just drape down...

I have never tried ladybugs since I grow indoors, but I just use neem oil every 2 to 3 weeks. You can get it at any gardening store. Its a lot easier to prevent bugs than remove them.
