i dont understand why you can insulate the walls. or at least the basement concrete walls. the styrofoam boards work great its not that hard... this guy did it haha

use something other then foil. white paint, mylar.. ect. from a veg state the plant will double sometimes triple in size.

it should be fine. you might want to even make some type of splint to keep it from bending any further. like tape a popsicle stick around the wound.

car battery pump.. zero noise. or you can make a simple rain catcher and store lots of water. preferably uphill from your grow. use a shirt or something to filter the water and a clear hose. works great.:peace::bigjoint:

not quite sure what you mean. like will the soil moisten the rockwool? well sure it will. the rockwool will soak any moisture around it.
